Dans leur article \u00ab\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><em>Linguistic Landscape and Ethnolinguistic Vitality: An Empirical Study<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0\u00bb paru en 1997, R. Landry et R.\u00a0Bourhis rel\u00e8vent que l\u2019usage des langues dans l\u2019espace public r\u00e9pond \u00e0 deux fonctions\u00a0: l\u2019une informationnelle, l\u2019autre symbolique. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0.28cm;\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Le <\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><em>paysage linguistique<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> (<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><em>ibid<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">.) constitue alors un levier strat\u00e9gique pour renforcer la visibilit\u00e9 des langues et la notion interroge les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes linguistiques affich\u00e9s, leurs liens avec les communaut\u00e9s de pratique, les repr\u00e9sentations associ\u00e9es et le r\u00f4le des institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 115%;
