Contracte de quatre anys ofert pel projecte El gresol de la narrativa occitanocatalana: Per una redefinició de la narrativa breu en vers a la Corona d’Aragó, de Cerverí de Girona a Francesc de la Via (Institut de Llengua i Cultura Catalanes - Universitat de Girona).

El contractat predoctoral col·laborarà en els objectius de recerca del projecte i treballarà en una tesi doctoral sobre la narrativa breu occitanocatalana en vers i la seva transmissió manuscrita.

El projecte s’inscriu sobretot al camp de la història de la literatura, amb orientació filològica, històrica i codicològica. Les competències en una o diverses d’aquestes àrees, així com en humanitats digitals, es consideren necessàries, i al llarg del contracte es podrà aprofundir els coneixements en les altres.

La crida pública oficial es publicarà en breu. Els candidats han d’estar en possessió d’un títol de màster. El candidat seleccionat s’haurà d’incorporar el dia 1 de Juny 2025.

PREDOCTORAL POSITION - Universitat de Girona

Four-year predoctoral position offered within the project The Catalan-Occitan Narrative Crucible: Reassessing Short Verse Narrative in the Crown of Aragon, from Cerverí de Girona to Francesc de la Via (Institut de Llengua i Cultura Catalanes - Universitat de Girona).

The predoctoral fellow will assist the research goals of the project and work on a PhD thesis concerned with Catalan-Occitan short verse narrative and its manuscript transmission.

The project falls mainly in the field of history of literature, with philological, historical, codicological approaches. Skills in one or more of these areas, as well as in digital humanities, will be necessary, and further training provided when needed.

The call for applications will be publicized shortly. Candidates must have completed a Master’s degree. The selected candidate will have to start the contract by 1 June 2025.
